Stewardship
How RDI is stewarded
RDI was initiated by Evercam and is maintained in public as a working reference for construction teams, technologists, insurers, consultants, and owners.
Origin
A framework for the field
RDI was initiated by Evercam and is maintained in public because construction needs shared language for evidence, workflows, and outcome measurement.
The framework was written down so owners, contractors, insurers, technologists, consultants, and researchers can discuss construction intelligence without reducing the topic to a single product category.
Evercam remains the initiator and current maintainer. The public material is intended to be useful beyond Evercam, including to teams that reach the same problems through different tools.
Boundary
What is public and what is protected
Category credibility depends on separating public reference material from customer data, private benchmarks, and implementation details.
Open
Public reference
- Definitions and principles
- RDI stack and decision loop
- Workflow categories and workflow library
- Maturity model and assessment
- Value methodology and directional calculator
- Learning material, glossary, and field notes
Protected
Protected implementation
- Customer and project data
- Project-specific benchmarks
- Production ROI reports for named engagements
- Quote logic, pricing, and commercial workflow
- Sales intelligence and pipeline
- Product roadmap decisions
Contribution
How to contribute
The framework should improve as it is challenged by real project work.
Path 1
Critique a definition
Point out where a definition, stack layer, or workflow is imprecise, overfit, or wrong.
Path 2
Propose a workflow
Suggest a construction workflow with trigger, evidence, decision, action, and outcome.
Path 3
Use it in practice
Apply the vocabulary in a team, course, project review, procurement document, or paper.
Contributions and corrections can be sent to rdi@evercam.io. Accepted public material will be credited here.
Use
Use and adaptation
The framework is published for practitioners to read, teach, and reference. A formal license for derivative publication is being prepared.
