Energy projects share a few features that suit RDI. They are weather-sensitive. They are often distributed. They have stringent commissioning regimes. And the owner is usually a sophisticated buyer who treats evidence as part of the deliverable.
Common workflows
- Earthworks progress with regular drone surveys.
- Weather records tied to delay events at site level.
- Subcontractor attendance during heavy installation phases.
- A commissioning evidence pack assembled along the way.
The economics on energy projects often rest on a small number of late-stage decisions: commissioning sign-off, owner acceptance, and dispute resolution at handover. The records that support those decisions are usually the records the project should have started preserving on day one.
